Well, after that dump of snow the other day we have a morning with no new snow to report.

It has been a cloudy morning but patches of blue sky up there as well. Nice morning. Snow is forecast for later on though and I have heard that it is snowing to the north in Niigata now so it sounds like it is on it's way.

Lets take a look at the forecast. Looks like we can expect snow later today then, and overnight into tomorrow. Perhaps a moderate supply of fresh snow is on it's way overnight which would make for a great start to the weekend. After that it just looks like light snow and changeable conditions over the weekend. Perhaps those kinds of days where it could go either way - might end up nice and sunny or might be snowing all day. We will just have to wait and see.

Looks like the Mens and Womens Riesen Slalom and Mens Slalom courses are closed today due to course conditions. Other than that, normal weekday operations at both Naeba and Kagura.
