Good morning from Naeba! After a day of rain yesterday, snow is falling from the sky, however it's not quite accumilating at the base yet. The air temperature is currently reading -1°C, which hopefully means the precipitation will remain snow for at least the coming few hours. The wind is currently blowing moderately through the Mikuni valley, but this is expected to taper off around the early evening. The precipitation is expected to end around this time also. The pistes are sugarly and spring-like all the way to the summit, so there is plenty of spring skiing around.

Looking forwards, there is a very stable weather forecast to report! Sun, sun and more sun! Air temperatures are expected to remain above 0°C for the foreseeable future, with highs of 17°C predicted for Wednesday. There will be very little wind during this period also, with a large blocking anticyclone sitting right over us. It looks as though Spring is really taking a hold!
