Later report today. I almost couldn't bare to put finger to key to type out 'rain' earlier on. Well, that sounds dramatic doesn't it. Truth is I had to be in Yuzawa town early this morning. But it was raining in Naeba and up at Kagura and down in Yuzawa town this morning.

Better news is that it eased off fairly quickly in the morning. So while we had some rain yesterday afternoon and then this morning, it could have been much worse especially taking into account what the forecasts were telling us to expect.

Clearer weather due tomorrow and the day after. And then.... all being well, snow on Friday into Saturday.
