Yesterday afternoon the snow continued to fall and then eased off in the evening. We received a couple of centimetres to top off the last few days. The clouds began to clear overnight and we were graced with a beautiful sunny Monday morning.
The rest of the day will remain sunny with temperatures rising above zero.
The sunny conditions are expected to stick around for a few more days with some expected snow towards the end of the week.
Slap on that sunscreen and work on your google tan.
All parks are open today and the jumps are in great condition.

Avalanche Information:

The Niseko range and the Sea of Japan are in a mild weather condition as a high-pressure system is overlaying the whole area. The wind remained relatively mild with very light overnight snowfall. The snowdrifts are stabilizing and the avalanche risk is low. The slopes above 1100m has been slightly reset with wind-drifted snow, but most south facing slopes below 800m are frozen, tracked out and in a tricky, potentially dangerous condition. Remain in control, ride safely and beware of hitting trees. Peak gates are scheduled to open at 9:30. Ask for the ski patrol’s opinion before you step out the gates.
WNW 7m/s at Benkei cape (west coast). Annupuri peak 7am: WNW 9.8m/s, -10.6℃. Annupuri base: -5℃ and clear sky. The mountains weather and snow conditions are ever changing, be aware and be prudent.
