Another beautiful day in paradise. The sun is out and is expected to stay with us all day.
Yesterday conditions were very similar. Temperatures rose quickly with the warming sun.
The warming sun will make the snow soft and a little slow. Best to stick to the groomers today.
The High pressure system is expected to stick around until Thursday afternoon when the snow is expected to fall.
Enjoy the sunshine and slap on the sunscreen.
All parks are expected to open and conditions for parkriders will be perfect.
A good day to be working on those double-corks.

Avalanche Information:

All gates are scheduled to open from the morning, peak gates at 9:30. Ask for the ski patrol’s advices before you step out. Annupuri peak 6am: -3.1℃ and 5.6m/s NNW wind. No snow has fallen overnight and the wind has remained calm, around 5m/s NNW to North above 1000m. The temperature is lower at the base this morning due to radiational cooling. Old tracks are not recovered and soft snow seems hard to find. North to East facing slopes are mostly stabilizing, however south facing low elevation steep slopes are highly affected by yesterday’s high temperature, the surface snow becoming heavier and denser and is likely to slide as the temperature rises again today. Watch-out for the changing snow consistency and beware of loose snow avalanche, especially in south facing gully and bowl terrain where heat gets trapped in.
Strictly off-limits areas are not to be entered at anytime, do not duck ropes to seek fresh lines.
