Temperatures have dropped and it is snowing presently in the village in Nozawa. Light snow on the mountain for most of last night will ensure that at least the top-most slopes will remain in fairly good condition. The temperature at the top is currently minus 6C. Base depths as yet have not been officially updated but are unlikely to be significantly changed. Visibility is poor.

The outlook is for light snow to continue until at least Friday with around 10cm expected on Wednesday.
