Good morning from Nozawa and another sunny and bright - if a little hazy - start to the day.

We're expecting cloud later on and perhaps a spot of rain or two but that isn't expected to last long and tomorrow morning no doubt I'll be reporting more early morning sunshine from Nozawa.

From tomorrow to Sunday this week, we'll all have the chance to test out new model skis and snowboards. If you are interested, head up to the top Yamabiko area of the resort at any of the times below...

Friday 11th - 10am until 3pm
Saturday 12th - 9:30am until 3pm
Sunday 13th - 9:30am until 2:30pm

...and check out some next season gear. It's free, but you will need some kind of formal identification that has a photo of yourself on it to sign up and take part. Looks like they have a lot of brands lined up so should be fun.
