Same old same old, another snowy day in Nozawa. Once again cold temps, light dry snow. Life really could be worse, and when I think about it, for some people it is.

You will have to be out early today, there is the usual influx of people into town for the weekend. Also, the Nagano prefectural ski-championships are in town.

Yesterday saw elementary school kids flying 40 metres down the ski jump, today mens and womens grade events will be held.

The forecast is for more light snow today and cloudy weather tomorrow.

In other news, tomorrow children will be able to use the lifts at Nozawa for free.
