It is a good morning here in Shiga Kogen.

Not if you want clear and sunny skies. But good if you want lots of fresh snowfall.

It is another of those mornings where wind is blowing the snow around and it's difficult to put a number on the amount of fresh snow. Though in my trusted spot, there's 46cm.

Kumanoyu are reporting 40cm of fresh snowfall....

It is still falling.

It's good to see snow piling up in the base Yamanouchi town areas too.

The only downer is that wind will probably be affecting some lifts this morning. If you are going out there I would check before heading out.

And wrap up well.

---

Pretty much all courses and connections at Shiga Kogen are now open (with just a few minor exceptions).
