Winter continues in Shiga Kogen, with at least another 5cm - more like 10cm in places - of fresh snow to report. Roads have packed snow on them and it was a winter-like -10 degrees in the Maruike area early this morning and hasn't warmed up that much since. It does feel nice and wintery once again.

The snow has eased off this lunchtime, it's just generally cloudy though fairly bright, and tomorrow we are forecast to have clear and sunny conditions.

Looking ahead, a bit of a warm spell late in the week but next weekend is looking very promising for snow as well, so I think it is safe to say that we are not done yet!
