After some very fine weather over the Golden Week period, today sees some rain and cloudy conditions in Shiga Kogen. It is the last day of the season for many of the remaining resort areas that are open. From tomorrow the places reamining part open will be the resorts in the southern area of Shiga Kogen - Shibutoge, Yokoteyama, Kumanoyu... it's not clear at the moment how long they will remain open.

Well, it has been a season of much less snow than we are used to, but somehow the resorts have managed to remain open for this long. Here's hoping for a return to the snowfalls we are used to next season!
