It's a bit of a wet and drizzly start to the day here in Yuzawa town and it looks set in for the morning, though is forecast to clear up later in the day.

The better news is that higher up snow is being reported to be falling at Gala, Kagura and the top of Naeba.

It's not as warm as it has been of late, with a top temperature of just 4 or 5 degrees forecast and a cold night in store for tonight.

A bit of a mixed bag lined up for tomorrow it would seem - sun, cloud, rain and a possibility of snow... we shall see.
