A fine sunny, but very icy morning in Yuzawa. Temperatures early on down below zero but set to rise during the daytime. No new snowfall overnight.

Yesterday, Yuzawa Now took a trip out to the Kandatsu Kogen resort in the town. Conditions were surprisingly decent - the 15cm or so of yesterday morning made a big difference. Still not enough snow to open up the steepest Orion course.

Tomorrow looks promising, with snowfall forecast throughout the day. Fingers crossed.
