Good morning from Yuzawa.

I spent a few hours up at Maiko Snow Resort yesterday and while we are obviously in need of more snow, conditions were better than I was expecting with probably about 10cm of fresh snow (as reported by the resort early morning) on the groomers. It reminded me that being out there is better than being in front of a computer, even if conditions aren't up there as being perfect!

There's no fresh snow to report this morning and it is a cloudy start to the day in the region. It's going to rather mild as well today and we may see temperatures in town rising to around 10 degrees.

We should be getting back to snowfall tomorrow I'm happy to report, and with more expected around Thursday-Friday, hopefully by the end of the week we'll have a nice new layer of snow everywhere.
