Fine blue skies all around this morning after the cloudy last few days. It was fairly chilly overnight but will probably warm up to around 19 degrees.... with more of the same on the forecast for tomorrow.
At GALA Yuzawa, the gondola and 3 lifts are open today. At Naeba 5 lifts are open for the weekend (same as last weekend including the Dragondola) with pretty much all of Kagura still.
In other news, GALA Yuzawa has announced that it will be open this season until Sunday 26th April.

The clouds have cleared up and this morning it is sunny with fine blue sky all around - going to be a great day.
Currently it is about 11 degrees in the village, likely to rise to around 17 later on in the day. It's about 6 degrees up at the top of Yamabiko. All of the Yamabiko area as well as the Uenotaira area is open for the weekend.
The sun is out, the skies are blue and it will warm up during the day - quite a contrast again from the clouds of the last few. But the timing is good as more people turn up to enjoy one of the last weekends of the season. More resort areas are open for the weekend. The following lifts are moving today:
After a few days closed due to the weather, Akakan is now open for the weekend again - and fine weather we have for it too with blue skies and the sun out doing it's thing. Snow is getting thin on the ground in places now, but if you want that last ski or snowboard it is certainly a fine day to do it.
Akakan closed from Monday until Friday and then plans to be back open next weekend, snow permitting.

Sun, blue skies
Beautiful blue skies from early on today in Hakuba, perfect timing for the weekend. With the warmth as well there are a lot of people out there out of their winter gear and enjoying the spring conditions out there.

Happo: Gondola, 3 quad lifts, Hakuba Kokusai No 3 Pair A,B pair lift operating on upper slopes (access via the gondola).
Goryu: Gondola and Alps No 1 and No 3 pair lifts. It is no longer possible to ski to the bottom from Alps no daira (use the Gondola).
47: Gondola, Line A pair, Line B pair, Line C quad, Line E pair - still able to ski down to base area.
Tsugaike Kogen: Gondola and 1 lift operating (upper courses only).
