Snow has lightened up this AM and the temperature is rising as well. Get out there early for some last of the sesaon powder turns. Should be ace as we had upwards of 30cm up on top yesterday. Weather is supposed to be clear today but currently the sun has not busted through yet.
Avalanche danger back up to high. Natural and human triggered avalanches likely. Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended. The new wet snow will be very likely to be sliding off steeper terrain. Read more ...

It's a cloudy morning (maybe more than we thought it might be), and the sun isn't out as this is being written, but there is no rain in sight which is good news. Once more it is fairly cold early on and will probably rise to around +11 in Yuzawa (and maybe around +5 at Kagura).
Some fairly strongish winds higher up at the top of Kagura and they have been waiting to open the lifts up there and will do if and when it calms down. Read more ...
