It's a cloudy morning and a bit dark right now as well, with a bit of rain falling as well and with temperatures probably not rising about +6 or 7 degrees and set to get as low as +1 during tonight, we have sleet forecast for later on in the day. Read more ...

Hard to believe but, it's snowing AGAIN! Big wet flakes a plenty. Don't know how long it will continue but they say till noon or so. Light winds out of the West at the moment turning N.W later and temps not going over the 5 deg.C mark today. It is supposed to be clearing up by this evening and sunny tomorrow with the clouds returning in the afternoon. Open resorts are still running their Gandolas and upper lifts but would guess the snow is a little slow. Have a good day and keep checking back for updates.

Sunshine hitting southern slopes yesterday had been creating multiple risks, including Size 2 loose avalanches. And now with more weight on it from the new snow, will not help the situation. Use caution when traversing under southern slopes. New snow ranges from 0cm to 65-70cm in wind-scoured areas and now increasing again. Generally loose slides are in the upper twenty centimetres of the new snow.
Natural avalanches possible, human-triggered avalanches probable. Be increasingly cautious in steep terrain. Read more ...
