We have had a run of generally fine days here in Yuzawa, and actually things have kept fairly cool - the humidity and heat hasn't really arrived yet which is a good thing.
Kagura still planning to be open until this coming Sunday, though right now unfortunately the forecast is for a fair amount of rain over the weekend. Let's hope that changes before then for the sake of people wanting to get up there.

Planned lift operations at Kagura (25th-27th May):
Just a few more days left now, but Kagura will easy be able to stay open until Sunday even with the snow gradually melting away. There's a fair bit of "moving snow around" work going on especially in Mitsumata where it's getting harder to see the white and the runs down are thin strips now, but they should be fine coping until Sunday without using a bus as a connection.
So Sunday is the last day of the season at Kagura, so let's take a look at the weather forecast for the weekend. Unfortunately right now the forecast is for rain over the weekend. Tomorrow should see more sun though, so fingers crossed that the weather patterns change for the weekend...
