Fine hazy skies
This morning it's bright and the skies are a hazy blue - officially the forecast is for cloud today but at the time of writing it's more like blue skies. Already close to 20 degrees it's another warm spring day with cloud/sun still on the forecast for the next few days.

Shiga Kogen Now!
Sunday 3rd May 2009, 10:48am
It was a cloudy start to the day this morning though clearer in areas and generally fine warm temperatures out there. Over 10 degrees at the moment, so we are very much in spring mode. More ground on show as the snow melts away with the best cover and snow remaining - in my opinion - up at Yokoteyama.
Resorts and lifts operating from today and planned until Wednesday are as follows:
Kumanoyu plans to be open until May 10th; Yokoteyama/Shibutoge will keep going until.... as long as they can! We'll let you know more when we know it but Shibutoget may well be able to stay open for another week or two yet.
