Cloudy but sunny
We have been having some unseasonably warm weather the last week or so and some very fine conditions especially earlier this week. The autumn colours have come down to town level now and everywhere is looking very colourful and pretty. There have been some fine chances of taking great photos this week in the area.
Today has been more cloudy though we have seen some sun and a high temperature of around 20 degrees once again. Tomorrow should see more sun and temperatures rising to around 22 degrees. It doesn't feel like winter yet that's for sure!
Things should cool down as we get into next week and we will see less of the sun and more rain... though it doesn't look like it will be cold enough for us to see the white stuff higher up as the forecast currently stands.
Another Friday and we have been enjoying some lovely conditions still here in Hakuba this last week or so with some fine autumn colours on show.
Lately we seem to have a run of fine days with blue skies and not much cloud, and then a break where the clouds move in. Yesterday was one of those days but today we have seen clearer skies after some cloudy early in the morning and now we are being treated to a very fine early evening.
Temperatures have been mild as well and today rose to around 19 degrees in town. So it's not feeling like winter is round the corner at all here at the moment.
It should be getting cooler early next week but no snow on the horizon at the moment. Hold tight, not that much longer now. It will only be a matter of weeks now and hopefully we'll be enjoying those first turns of the season. Resorts will be ready and I'm sure we will be too! Read more ...
