My first trip to Hakuba. Chose Happo-one purely because my accommodation was near the Happo gondola. First impressions were good unlike all the other Japanese ski resorts I have been to, Happo has a European alpine feel to it, presumably a throw-back to it hosting the 1998 Winter Olympics. In fact neither of the places I stayed in looked as though they had much done to them since the Olympics, which gave the place a bit of nostalgic

Let's Happo!
My first trip to the Hakuba valley and I chose Happo-one because my accommodation was near the Happo gondola.
