I live about 40 minutes drive away so it's one of my "locals", and I will be going there quite a lot this season. The mountain is big, wide and gets decent snow. Ski or board down the mens downhill course and any of a whole load more with lots to choose from. There's even a McDonalds on the hill, whethere that is good or not you decide!
Happo-one is a famous Nagano resort, perhaps better for skiers than snowboarders.
The top of the mountain has a couple great steep runs, with a few good bumps here and there. However, Happo is subject to high winds and lift closures at the top of the mountain. I have never experienced such a white-out before in my life. I couldn't see the ends of my skis!
