1st Bizzarely everything is signposted in English with some kind of New York theme.

It was pretty icy but well groomed so no moguls or sudden bumps. Most of the banks at the edge of the courses have been made inaccessible so no real interesting terrain to speak of.

As we were leaving about 5pm it started snowing so should be a bit of fresh stuff tomorrow. but...

Imagining this field with 10-20cm of new powder I wouldn't think you'd make it to the bottom for lack of speed and off piste opportunities didn't look good. The trees grow close together and there's not much could be called steep.

I wouldn't go back here but it was great for 1 day.

7800 yen Shinkansen package from Tokyo.

Buses were well organised and on time.

Also a big thumbs up for the presence of affordable food. There's a conveini and next door a Soba - Udon shop selling a decent bowl from 200yen.
Date visited: From 18 March, 2006
Snow condition on visit: Warm Spring Day / Icy on top, slushy at the bottom
Things I liked: Board Park was fun. Fun mini half pipe too.
Things I didn't like: The bottom half of the field was mostly flat.
