Snow Wave Park Shiratori Kogen review by Mike
I like this place. In the spring. The road up is not where I'd want to be mid-winter, as it is steep, tight and closes when it dumps snow. The place is basically a big park, with lots of tables, table-tops, boxes, rail, pipes, kickers and hips. Fun when you are out on a jib board for a sunny day. There are definitely some areas that boarders will have to skate, notably just before returning to the quad lift. At least you don't have to fight lines for some item time.

If you are out in November on the Shirotori blown-snow kick, avoid this place--there is a major uphill on a pretty short course. Go to Winghills or Washige.
Date visited: From 04 January, 2007
Snow condition on visit: Spring slush
Things I liked: Lots of park items, well maintained
Things I didn't like: Not a proper resort per se, flat spots
