Niseko Village Ski Resort review
Hirafu would've been better as even when it's sunny the sun doesn't touch many of the slopes.

Whichever of the three connected resorts you stay at head straight to the top of the mountain first thing in the morning for the best snow.

80% of lifts were open at this time.
Date visited: From 08 December, 2006
Snow condition on visit: Powder up top. Icy on northern faces
Things I liked: Cheap at this time of year. Up top was great virgin powder.
Things I didn't like: Too warm and icy on the way down.
