As a beginner snowboarder, I found the intermediate runs at the top of the mountain to be a ton of fun, good for a 4-hour pass. Don't start later than 10 in the morning, as by 2pm it gets a little wet and slushy.
It was also pretty affordable, and they have rental boot sizes for us large foreigners - up to 29.5cm.
The one huge con to this place is the looooong flat beginner run that goes to the bottom of the gondola lift. It started out not-so-bad, but the flat part in the middle was misery. If you stop, don't plan on getting started again. At one point there is a tow rope to help you up a short hill, but it's pretty poorly designed and I never saw anyone make it to the top of the damn thing without falling. Ignoring the long run, though, this is a very fun place for a few hours, but it would get old if you tried to spend an entire day here.
