Naeba review by David
Very nice day today and most of it was open. What wasn't open was easily accessible, though. Ski patrol didn't seem to care about off piste or getting creative on closed runs. They just kind of laughed it off. I spent about 6 hours on the mountain and didn't see everything so it's a good size. It was really icy at the bottom especially later in the day so that's something for beginners to keep in mind.

Even with all the people at the bottom, I was amazed at how short the lines were, if there were any at all. At the top, there were no waits at all. The resort is easy to access from the shinkansen, but a little further than some; about 50 minutes. The time is definitely worth it; spend an extra 50 minutes on the bus and enjoy 10-20 more runs in a day from avoiding the crowds.

I'd heard mixed reviews about Naeba, but after today, I'm a believer. I will definitely go back.
