Excellent conditions, beautiful mountain and exciting intermediate runs.
We did a trip for the day and drove out from the Misawa-shi area (about 2 1/2 hours) and it was well worth the trip. The slopes were not crowded, very well maintained and just the right challenge level for my wife and I (we're not beginners but not experts, either).
I was particularly fond of the intermediate run that dead ended at Mos Burger. It was great to be able to ride straight down and have a burger and a beer at lunchtime.
The lifts were excellent, as well, with a smattering of gondola style lifts and some traditional two seaters, but none of our lift rides were overly long or uncomfortable.

Snow condition on visit:
Fantastic, 3 to 5 feet of soft, fresh powder.
Things I liked:
The conditions were fantastic, the intermediate runs were challenging but still doable and the one expert run I attempted was definitely a good step up from the reds.
Things I didn't like:
Nothing, I had a wonderful time here. Parking was a little full for a surprisingly empty mountain though.
