Hakuba Happo-one resort review (Hakuba Village, Nagano)

Hakuba Happo-one

Further to my review of Happo One based on our visit last year, this report is based on this year's January visit. I will also post separate reports for Goryu/47, Iwatake and Cortina as I skied those resorts on this trip too.

Starting with Happo One (skied 3 days) this really is the biggest and best in the Hakuba Valley with something for everyone.

BTW one of the days skied here was courtesy of SnowJapan's very kind awarding of a lift pass from their Win a Pass comp. - much appreciated, many thanks.

The variety and length of the terrain here make it a resort to come back to again and again and I will almost definitely do so again next year.

Fantastic snow conditions although untracked powder was harder to find than at 47 or Iwatake without going back country (which is on the list for next year).
Date visited: From 10 January, 2015 To 22 January, 2015
Snow condition on visit: Good to start with, then heavy dumps created awesomeness !!
Things I liked: Length and variety of runs. Snow conditions
Things I didn't like: Son (boarder) was upset that snowpark wasn't open
