This area, despite having nice people and helpful staff, is pretty dysfunctional. For starters, it was very crowded when I was there and incredibly they do not have any accomodation for singles on the chairs, literally there would be 10 or 15 minute lines and you would see 3 or 4 chairs in a row going up with one person in them. I have been skiing for 45 years and have never seen a place without a singles line.
Then the chairs, most all of them are non-detachable, and they are situated so low to the ground that they come in and whack you about 1 inch above the top of the boot, so you have to drop like a stone into the chair as there is no place for a hand hold to let yourself down.
There are a lot of snowboarders and the top of the chairs have no good place for them to get in their boards so it is a challenge to get through them.
The top of the mountain has 4 chairs and a gondola letting people off in essentially the same spot and then to get down you have to funnel through a narrow little run so that you are always in traffic. The lifts at the bottom are the same way.
There is also a tendancy for the boarders to lounge about on the hill in big congregations, always in the middle of the runs, very strange.
the terrain is okay but there is not enough places to ski to handle the traffic, there would be some great tree skiing with a little effort but the effort has not been made.
I really can't come up with anything exceptionally good about this resort.
