Tazawako review by Chris
One of the most pleasant resorts I've yet been to here in Japan.

You can easily scream through the whole mountain in half a day, but take your time. The snow quality was excellent, and snicker snicker jump the fence into the out of bounds on the far left and rights whenever possible.

Watch out for sink holes though. It's worth it. Right next door to Tazawako is Asseru Skijo - don't bother, it's for beginners.
Date visited: From 25 January, 2002
Snow condition on visit: Fluffy and light
Things I liked: Great terrain
Things I didn't like: Not the biggest resort out there
