Happo-one review by Chris
I think the sheer size of Happo One is what makes this warrant a 3 instead of a 2. The mountain is over-groomed and what is nice and natural on Happo is out of bounds (hit the top, jump the fence and away you go - careful not to start an avalanche and beware sinkholes).

Nasty windshears but the highest mountains always have that.

It's probably a good mountain for beginners but not the best challenge for intermediates and above.
Date visited: From February, 2003
Snow condition on visit: Powdery at top, slush at bottom
Things I liked: Big
Things I didn't like: Too groomed, and not much variety
