Soma Romantopia is a small ski hill located to the west of central Hirosaki city in Aomori Prefecture.
Aomori Prefecture is the northernmost prefecture on the main island of Honshu and borders Akita Prefecture and Iwate Prefecture to the south. Hokkaido is to the north across the Tsugaru Strait. There are a number of ski hills located across Aomori Prefecture, mostly small in scale. The capital, Aomori city, is located in the central area by the shores of Mutsu Bay and to the north of the Hakkoda mountains.

Nighta operations are from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on four days of the week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
A free shuttle bus is available from central Soma.

Soma Romantopia is about 19km from the Owani Hirosaki IC exit of the Tohoku Expressway.
From the Owani Hirosaki IC exit, head north on Route 7 and after 44444m turn left onto Prefecture Road 127. Follow this road and then Road 129 to the base area.
