Oze Hinoemata Onsen is a ski area located in Hinoemata Town in the southwestern region of Fukushima Prefecture.
It has two pair lifts, though they are not always both open in recent years. One of the courses has a maximum gradient of 30 degrees and is a self-proclaimed 'deep powder course'.
This ski area is one of the more remote ski areas in Fukushima. It is not close to any train station or expressway road and is about a two-hour drive from Aizu Wakamatsu.
While it is close to the border with Gunma Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture, it can only be accessed from the northeast (within Fukushima) during winter. (Route 352 into Niigata Prefecture is closed in winter).
Oze Hinoemata Onsen is usually only open on weekends and holidays.
