Snow Resort Nekoyama
is located on the northern slopes of Mt Neko, to the north-east of central Shobara city in the north-eastern region of Hiroshima Prefecture. Dogoyama Kogen
is close by, just to the north of Snow Resort Nekoyama.
This ski area ran a crowdfunding project to try and help them through the 'double punch' that 2020 has dealt with low snowfall and coronavirus... and after some uncertainty has announced that it will be open for the 2020-2021 season.
Hiroshima Prefecture is in the Chugoku region of western Japan. The capital city, Hiroshima, is on the southern coastline by the Seto Inland Sea. The two main regions of Hiroshima Prefecture where most of the ski hills can be found are the north-western region around Kita Hiroshima town and the north-eastern region of Shobara city.
