Chikusa Kogen is a ski area located in Shiso City, in the western region of Hyogo Prefecture. It is close to the border with Okayama Prefecture and Tottori Prefecture.
Chikusa Kogen has three pair lifts (593m, 760m and 560m).
Night skiing until 11:00pm on Fridays, weekends and holidays is popular. (It is usually also open until 9:00pm on Wednesdays). The Number 3 pair lift operates during night skiing.
The official Japanese name of this ski area remains Chikusa Kogen, but since 2022, they have added the name Chikusa Mountain Village to their official information.
There are two ski areas in Shiso City. The other is Banshu Tokura.
The Snow Park is by the top of the pair lift on the left side of the mountain.
The Chigumin Park kids park is near the base of the ski area. Entry is 1,000 yen. Normally open from 9:00am until 3:00pm.
Ski and snowboard lessons are available at Chikusa Kogen.
Ski and snowboard equipment & wear rental is available.

Chikusa Kogen is normally open from 8:30am on weekdays and from 8:00am on holidays until 5:00pm in the daytime.
Night skiing is usually on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays. From 5:30pm until 11:00pm and until 9:00pm on Wednesdays and Sundays. Subject to change.
