An IC Gate (ticket) system was been introduced for the 2023-2024 season.
Myoko is the name of a city in Niigata Prefecture. It is also the name many people associate with the ski areas located on and around the beautiful Mt Myoko in the city's southwest region. View the full list of Myoko ski areas here. Myoko famously enjoys some of the heaviest snowfalls in Japan.
Other popular ski areas in Nagano Prefecture are closeby, including Madarao, Nozawa Onsen and Shiga Kogen. The region is popular throughout the year with onsen hot springs, nature and outdoor activities.
The Alpen Blick Snow Park is by the Shirakaba pair lift.
There are a few ungroomed tree run courses at Ikenotaira in the upper part of the ski area. The top section above the top of the quad lift is a 'hike up' (ie. no ski lift) self responsibility area. Avalanche kit is required.
The Kids Garden is located by the Alpen Blick Number 1 pair lift. It is normally open on weekends and holidays and entry is 500 yen.
