Sannokura is located in Kitakata city in the north western region of Fukushima Prefecture and is quite close to the border with Yamagata Prefecture.

Sannokura is normally open from 9:00am until 5:00pm in the daytime.

Night skiing is from 5:00pm until 9:00pm on certain days in the season (usually Wednesdays to Saturdays).

On most weekdays in the second half of February and in March, the ski area is only open for night skiing.

Closed on Mondays in February and March 2022.

The Aizu Wakamatsu IC on the Banetsu Expressway is about 31km from Sannokura.

From the Aizu Wakamatsu IC exit, head north towards Kitakata city on Route 121. Follow Route 121 for about 26km, past central Kitakata and through to Atsushio Onsen. Turn left at the sign for 'Sannokurakogen'. Sannokura is about 5km off Route 121.

There is parking for 400 cars on two car parks by the base of the ski area. Parking is free every day of the season.
